The Power of Exhibitions

Bringing Stories to Life

Exhibitions are more than just displays—they are powerful tools for change. They create space for voices to be heard, for stories to be seen, and for audiences to connect with real experiences in a way that words alone cannot achieve.

When people walk through an exhibition, they are immersed in the stories being told. They see the faces behind the issues, feel the weight of personal experiences, and are often moved to think, feel, and act differently. A photograph or a testimony on a wall can challenge perceptions, spark conversations, and inspire action in ways that statistics and reports simply cannot.

Exhibitions also foster engagement. They bring communities together, encourage dialogue, and provide a platform for those who may otherwise go unheard. They allow us to reach people who might not seek out these stories but who, when confronted with them in an exhibition space, cannot ignore them.

Most importantly, exhibitions create impact. They leave lasting impressions, not just on those who experience them but on the wider society as they ripple through discussions, media, and policy changes. Every exhibition we create is designed not just to inform, but to transform.

This is why exhibitions are at the heart of what we do. Because real stories deserve to be seen, voices deserve to be heard, and change begins when people stop, look, and truly understand.

From Cathedrals to Conventions

Where Our Exhibitions Have Been Showcased

Our exhibitions have been showcased in a range of venues, from historic landmarks to national photography events and community spaces. Each location has played a vital role in sharing the powerful stories behind our work, reaching thousands of people and sparking meaningful conversations.

Many of these venues have now hosted more than one of our exhibitions and are already asking when our next one will be released. The demand for our work continues to grow, showing that these exhibitions are making a real impact.

In addition to these major venues, our exhibitions have been displayed in many other smaller locations, ensuring that our work reaches as many people as possible. Each exhibition is an opportunity to share real stories, challenge perspectives, and drive change. We continue to seek new venues to expand our reach and amplify the voices that need to be heard.

Venues That Believe in the Power of Storytelling

Some of the key venues that have hosted our exhibitions include:

  • St Albans Cathedral (St Albans) – A historic and spiritual landmark, providing a stunning backdrop for our work.
  • St Paul’s Church (St Albans) – A community-driven space, allowing our exhibitions to engage with local audiences.
  • All Saints Church (High Wycombe) – A key venue for raising awareness in the community.
  • SWPP Convention (London) – One of the UK’s largest photography events, exposing our work to professionals and industry leaders.
  • The Guild of Photographers (Stoke-on-Trent) – A respected photographic organisation, helping to share our message with photographers and creatives.
  • The Photography Show (London) – A major industry event, where thousands of visitors have engaged with our exhibitions.
  • Stevenage Council (Stevenage) – Bringing our work into a civic space, engaging local government and the wider community.

Exhibitions are more than just displays—they are windows into untold stories, catalysts for conversation, and sparks that ignite change.

When people see, they feel. When they feel, they act.

Host an Exhibition

Bring Powerful Stories to Your Space

Our exhibitions are designed to educate, inspire, and spark meaningful conversations. By hosting an exhibition, you provide a platform for real stories to be seen and heard, helping to raise awareness and drive change in your community.

Whether you are a gallery, a church, a council building, a corporate space, or a community venue, our exhibitions can be tailored to fit your space. Many venues that have hosted our work have seen incredible engagement, with visitors deeply moved by the stories shared. Several have gone on to host multiple exhibitions and are eager for more.

If you are interested in hosting an exhibition and would like to discuss how we can bring our work to your space, get in touch. Let’s work together to create impact and inspire action.

Breaking the stereotype

When we think of homelessness, a familiar image often comes to mind—scruffy individuals begging or sleeping in shop doorways, struggling with mental health issues, addiction, or both. This image persists because it represents the most visible side of homelessness in the UK. But it is only a fraction of the full picture.

Unseen Echoes

The Unseen Echoes project challenges how we perceive domestic abuse. Too often, our understanding is shaped by what we can physically see—bruises, broken bones, and visible scars. But the reality is far more complex. Many survivors bear no external wounds, yet they live with the deep and lasting impact of psychological, emotional, financial, and coercive control.

A New Name

The Same Mission

We have changed our name back to The Narrator’s Lens, but we are still the Christopher James Hall Foundation—just under a new name. Our mission and values remain the same, and we continue to create impactful projects, raise awareness, and drive change.

This rebrand is part of our journey towards becoming a charity, allowing us to expand our reach and make an even greater difference. While our name has changed, our commitment to amplifying voices and making a lasting impact remains as strong as ever.
